Access is restricted to authorised Metro Farm personnel and other persons expressly approved in writing by Metro Farm. Unauthorised access, attempted access, credential sharing, copying, downloading, export, modification, deletion, disclosure, distribution or use is strictly prohibited. Suspected unauthorised activity may be reported to the Singapore Police Force, and Metro Farm reserves all rights to take civil and/or criminal legal action.
Depending on the facts, unauthorised conduct may constitute offences under Singapore law, including the Computer Misuse Act 1993: unauthorised access to computer material (s 3: fine up to S$5,000 and/or imprisonment up to 2 years; if damage is caused, fine up to S$50,000 and/or imprisonment up to 7 years), access with intent to commit or facilitate another offence (s 4: fine up to S$50,000 and/or imprisonment up to 10 years), unauthorised modification/use/interception/obstruction (ss 5–7: fine up to S$10,000 and/or imprisonment up to 3 years; if damage is caused, fine up to S$50,000 and/or imprisonment up to 7 years), unauthorised disclosure of access codes (s 8: fine up to S$10,000 and/or imprisonment up to 3 years), and enhanced penalties where protected computers are involved (s 11: fine up to S$100,000 and/or imprisonment up to 20 years). Unauthorised disclosure or improper use of personal data may also constitute offences under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (ss 48D and 48E: fine up to S$5,000 and/or imprisonment up to 2 years).
